Got this myself on my phone, as well as it simply rejected to update. Right here's what helped me.

Edit: this seems to be an issue that Facebook know. It's a concern with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Store issue.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear data and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage area, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It doesn't harmed if you reboot your phone prior to you try updating facebook once again. And also, the set up was SLOW. Just at least 4-5 mins. However, it did work. If not attempt to uninstall it, or merely await a fix.
