Got this myself on my phone, as well as it simply rejected to upgrade. Here's what worked for me.

Edit: this appears to be a problem that Facebook know. It's a concern with the Facebook app, as well as not a generalised Play Store concern.

This is what worked for me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear information and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage room, Clear all information as well as Clear cache


It doesn't hurt if you reboot your phone before you try upgrading facebook once more. And, the install was SLOW. Just a minimum of 4-5 minutes. However, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or just await a fix.
