Got this myself on my phone, and also it just declined to upgrade. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be a problem that Facebook know. It's a problem with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Store issue.

This is what worked for me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear information as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage space, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It does not injured if you restart your phone before you try upgrading facebook once more. As well as, the set up was SLOW. Simply at least 4-5 mins. Yet, it did work. Otherwise attempt to uninstall it, or merely await a solution.
